東京都出身、4人組ロックバンド。
2010年、日本人男子最年少の若さでアメリカの音楽フェス「SxSW2010」に出演、海外での活動も積極的に行う。2019年に10周年イヤーを迎え、6月には自身初の日本武道館ワンマン公演を成功させる。2022年7月には、「90'S TOKYO BOYS IN HALL SPECIAL～アフタースクール～」と題し、ホール公演としては最大動員数となるNHKホール公演を開催。2023年5月24日には、アニメ「Dr.STONE」エンディングテーマ曲「Where Do We Go？」をリリース。6月25日からはTHE BAWDIES x OKAMOTO'S SPLIT TOUR 2023 [ON STAGE]を開催。また、関ジャニ∞や菅田将暉、DISH//など様々なアーティストのプロデュースや楽曲提供、映画やドラマの劇伴制作、個々のプロデュースワークや、DJ活動なども行っている。その活動の勢いは止まることを知らない。
